I’m disappointed and disgusted by the actions of members of the community who have actively gone out of their way to cut our legs out from under us. We do not know in what capacity Cardboard Cares will go forward to fund arts education in Alexandria. We have a lot to sort out and difficult decisions to make.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us. We are continuing to service our cardboard customers, but the likelihood of building an art center at this point is slim without a windfall. We are going to regroup and hope to continue to support youth art education in the area. We just don’t know what that looks like at this time. I will keep you posted.
